About SevRes

Transforming Learner Mental Health

SevRes is the standardised method for capturing student mental health data in Wales, used by all ten Welsh universities. SevRes enables institutions to identify student needs, plan effective support, and make data-driven decisions.

At the heart of SevRes is the SevRes Dashboard, a live platform bringing together standardised mental health data to give real-time insight into student needs, supporting early intervention and strategic planning.

Empowering Institutions with Live Data

The SevRes Dashboard enables partners to:

  • Spot patterns & trends in student mental health
  • Plan timely interventions
  • Support learners in the best and most efficient way
  • Make data-driven decisions
  • Identify risk factors and areas of need

SevRes is building a future-ready system that prioritises student well-being at every level.

Building a Resilient & Inclusive Mental Health Support Network

Funded by Medr and aligned with Wales' national strategies and the Well-being of Future Generations Act, SEVRES is helping to shape a stronger and more sustainable post-16 education system. By improving how student mental health is understood and supported, SevRes strengthens cross-sector partnerships, promotes the adoption of shared standards and tools, and supports the development of a learning environment that is inclusive, resilient, and built to meet the needs of both current and future students.
